*Job Title:* Physician Assistant - Pediatric Orthopedics (OR Support) *Location:* Temple, TX *Facility:* Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple & McLane Children's Medical Center *Schedule:* Full-Time | Clinic-Based with Occasional First Assist *Position Overview:* Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a *Physician Assistant (PA)* to join our growing *Pediatric Orthopedic team* in Temple, Texas. This APP will play a key role in supporting a new pediatric orthopedic surgeon starting in *September 2025*, helping provide high-quality orthopedic care to children in a collaborative, multispecialty environment. *Key Responsibilities:* * Evaluate and treat an average of *18 pediatric patients per day* in the clinic * Provide first assist support in the operating room as needed (minimal) * Collaborate with an experienced team that includes *2 pediatric surgeons*, *non-operative sports medicine providers*, and a *clinic nurse specialist* * Participate in care planning and follow-up for surgical and non-surgical patients * Use clinical judgment and teamwork to deliver compassionate, child-friendly care *Qualifications:* * Licensed Physician Assistant in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain) * New graduates welcome to apply; pediatric or orthopedic experience preferred * Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset * Passion for working with children and a commitment to family-centered care * Demonstrated ability to adapt, think critically, and work as part of a team *Why Join Us?* At *Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple*, you'll be part of a *nationally ranked* academic medical center with a commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and patient care.
