We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join our Structural Heart Fellowship program. This advanced training opportunity is designed for individuals committed to developing expertise in the diagnosis, management, and minimally invasive treatment of structural heart diseases. The fellowship is a 1-year, Non-ACGME position, intended for candidates who have completed IC training and must be Board Certified or Board Eligible and should be eligible for a full medical license by the Commonweath of Pennsylvania.
This fellowship offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and the opportunity to work alongside a team of highly experienced interventional cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and imaging specialists in a high-volume structural heart program.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the evaluation and management of patients with structural heart conditions, including but not limited to aortic stenosis, mitral/tricuspid regurgitation, and congenital heart defects.
Gain proficiency in advanced imaging techniques, such as echocardiography, and CT to support structural heart procedures.
Perform and assist in a variety of structural heart interventions, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), mitral and tricuspid valve repair/replacement, left atrial appendage occlusion, and septal defect closure.
Actively participate in clinical research initiatives related to structural heart interventions and contribute to scientific publications.
